Mozart himself spent several times in his short life in the royal seat of Mannheim situated in the Electoral Palatinate from which he drew important artistic inspiration, even though his dream to work for elector Carl Theodor never came true. This year, the spectrum of performances ranges from productions of Mozart’s operas and the ones of his teacher Johann Christian Bach, cross-over-projects, to high-quality concerts and installations to the first showing of a contemporary music theater for children and adolescents.
