Vikings et Normands. Le recensement initial de cinquante sites a permis la constitution d'un itinéraire qui regroupe des musées, des vestiges archéologiques et des centres d'interprétation. C'est à partir de 1998 que l'Institut a préparé son élargissement aux épisodes historiques concernant les Normands en France et en Italie. buts et objectifs développement Il s'est constitué en association à vocation essentiellement scientifique en 1995, association qui est depuis dirigée par Dan Carlsson. Élargissement Après la publication par l'Institut des actes du séminaire de Ggansk qui s'est tenu en 1997 sur le thème "Patrimoine et tourisme", une mission a été organisée en 1998 auprès de la Baltic Sea Tourism Commission.
Actualité du thème Dans le cadre du grand thème des Peuples européens, les Vikings tiennent une place centrale, dans la mesure où, ayant parcouru une grande partie de l'Europe, les traces de cette civilisation restent importantes. With the goal of gaining new perspectives on Mozart and his time, the Mannheimer Mozartsommer attracts once again internationally outstanding artists to the Nationaltheater Mannheim and the charming castle grounds of Schwetzingen. Mozart himself spent several times in his short life in the royal seat of Mannheim situated in the Electoral Palatinate from which he drew important artistic inspiration, even though his dream to work for elector Carl Theodor never came true. This year, the spectrum of performances ranges from productions of Mozart’s operas and the ones of his teacher Johann Christian Bach, cross-over-projects, to high-quality concerts and installations to the first showing of a contemporary music theater for children and adolescents.
