Like this: J'aime chargement…

Could SemTech Run On Excel? (SemTech Lightning Demo) - TechnicaL. Freebase Gridworks, Data-Journalism and Ope. Earlier this year, David pinged me over IRC and prodded me to look at a new software prototype he had just created. Just like it happened many times before, I was blown away: what I had in front was a game changer.

Not only it was a wonderfully executed prototype of obvious usefulnes (a rare thing on its own), but it was solid yet flexible in design and it allowed me to plug many of my own ideas and code prototypes into it that had been laying around disconnected is various random projects over the years. The months after became a wonderful and exciting development collaboration between the two of us (much like in the good old days of SIMILE while we were both at MIT) to take the outstanding ideas and foundation he had built, sprinkle a few of mine and bake it together into a software product that we could be proud of and that we could try to use to bootstrap a network effect around the problem of enticing substantial data contributions to Freebase. In Praise of Gridworks [...] RDFa API. Abstract This document is not finished. Due to the lack of time, the RDF Web Applications Working Group was unable to complete work on this document before the end of their charter.

At the time of publication of this document, it was not known whether W3C will continue this work on the Recommendation track in another Working Group. While a significant amount of design work went into this document, at present there is only one known implementation of the specification. A number of design issues have not been completely resolved. Developers wishing to implement this API should be aware of incomplete nature of the specification. RDFa [RDFA-CORE] enables authors to publish structured information that is both human- and machine-readable. How to Read this Document This section is non-normative. This document is a detailed specification for an RDFa API. For those looking for an introduction to the use of RDFa, or some real-world examples, please consult the RDFa Primer [RDFA-PRIMER].

Conformance. NBStore - Release: NB_Store_02.01.00. RDFaS. Best Buy A. May 3, 2010 I had a chance to talk with Jay Myers of Best Buy the other day. Jay works on the retailer’s web site(s), and he’s one of the people on the front lines of the semantic web. Jay has two interesting problems: he wants people to find product information much easier than they do today, and he wants the Best Buy stores to have their inventory found more easily, to make a tighter connection between buyers and sellers. Let’s look at the second problem first. Goodrelations is, at the moment, a container for describing offers using RDF, the language of linked data. BestBuy.com has just started to serve a complete RDF/XML dump of their products and price information to the Web of Linked Data, using the GoodRelations vocabulary for e-commerce. Best Buy uses RDFa and GoodRelations to increase local open box products and store location visibility on the web. After publishing semantic store data, Best Buy started to see more accurate search results, practically immediately.

Check.rdfa: Frequently Asked Questions. What does this service do? It checks your web page for RDFa and displays any data found there. It also compares your data against the published recommendations from major consumers/users of RDFa data, to see how well your data matches their requirements. If your page doesn't raise any errors or warnings, it doesn't mean that your data is perfect — it just means that your errors may have been too ingenious for an automated tool to detect!! Your service says my page is fine, but Google/Facebook/whatever can't see my data! Some services may have accidental or intentional deviations from the RDFa standard in their parsers. This service simply parses RDFa according to the W3C recommendations and compares the end result to the schemas accepted by major consumers.

What's all this " stuff? RDFa allows authors to include relative links in their HTML, like <a rel="next" href="page2">next</a>. My page used to have no errors, but now it has lots! How can I stop you checking my page? Perl. Never. e11828.pdf (Objet application/pdf) SPARQL Query Interface. Le Moteur Sémantique d’Oracle 11g Release 2 « EASYTEAM LE BLOG. We're happy to announce the release of Pellet 2.2. This release is available for download at the Pellet download page. Since the 2.1 release, we closed more than 50 tickets, including numerous bug fixes and performance improvements. Some of highlights include the following. Classification performance has been improved: the most significant speedups are for ontologies with large class hierarchies that use inverse properties and/or property chains. We are also releasing two versions of the Protege plug-in for Pellet: one plug-in for Protege 4.0 and one plug-in for Protege 4.1 Beta. Pellet 2.2 is available for use in open source projects under the AGPL v.3 license; for commercial usage, alternative license terms are available.

Since version 0.9.5 all packages are signed (also unstable), as the version in market. On Tuesday 28th of September you could watch me presenting the Mobile Social Semantic Web at SKIL 2010 (program) in the course of INFORMATIK 2010, the annual convention of the "Gesellschaft für Informatik".

The Semantic Web Widget Library. The Semantic Web Widget Library is a library for creating user interfaces that work with the Semantic Web. This project aims to provide a useful set of tools for viewing and editing Semantic Web data that can easily be integrated into any Website. A much more thorough description of the inspiration and goals for the project is provided in Jim Hollenbach's MEng thesis, submitted May 2010. The widget library code is written entirely in Javascript, so there is no special configuration necessary to work with remote data directly within your own pages! If you are looking for a test page to start playing around with the library in, you can use the following sample, which loads all of the Javascript source required by the library, including jQuery, from DIG space: When executed, the code above should produce the following output: That's it! Semantic web user interfaces - Do they have to be ugly? Named Entity Extraction (Linked Data) AlchemyAPI provides comprehensive support for RDF and Linked Data, enabling any content to be brought into the "Semantic Web" world with relative ease. What is Linked Data? Linked Data is a method of exposing, sharing, and connecting data on the Web via dereferenceable URIs. Linked Data aims to extend the Web with a data commons by publishing various open datasets as RDF on the Web and by setting RDF links between data items from different data sources. The Linked Data cloud currently consists of over 7.4 billion RDF triples, interlinked by 142+ million RDF links.

AlchemyAPI leverages Linked Data to provide additional information describing named entities detected within a piece of content. What Linked Data Resources Are Supported? AlchemyAPI integrates with a variety of resources within the Linked Data cloud, enriching your content. How Do I Use It? Linked data output is enabled by default, so you don't have to do anything to use it. LinkedData=0 What Does AlchemyAPI Linked Data Look Like? Linkator.
