The Golden Retriever is a hardy, medium-large sized puppy. The skull is wide and the muzzle is straight, tapering slightly using a well-defined stop. The nose is black or even a brown black. The moderate to big eyes are dark brown. The comparatively brief ears hang down close to your lips. The tail is thick at the bottom with feathering across the bottom. The waterproof jacket is compact with a company, straight or wavy outer coating. There's an untrimmed feathering on the underbelly back of the thighs, front of the throat and bottom of their tail. Coat colour comes from lotion to a rich gold.
