Get root access on your phone.Install Barnacle Wifi Tether from Market (or here) and run it.Connect your PC (or iPad, or Xbox!) To the ad-hoc network (default SSID is barnacle). I found out that Sprint Zone is easier to get rid of if you go into Applications and click on it and do "Uninstall Updates". You don't have to be rooted to do this. I took all the Sprint/Amazon crap off (but left Sprint Updater alone) and have rebooted a couple times, and everything has stayed gone.
