Tim Holtz Eclectic Elements Fabric Book Tutorial

Thanks for visiting! I absolutely could not be more excited about the product I am featuring in today’s tutorial. Before I became a papercrafter, I sewed. I learned in my early teens. When I graduated from high school the one gift I hoped for was a sewing machine. One of the things that I love about Tim’s products is that everything works together. That brings me to today’s tutorial… a fabric mini book made from scratch featuring the new Eclectic Elements fabric and embellished inside with papers from the Lost and Found collection! Let’s get started… Begin with a 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ piece of beige cotton muslin. Toss some crinkle ribbon around on the craft sheet to take advantage of the remaining stain and water. Wring the fabric out in a dry cloth and dry with a heat tool. Cut out a clock from the clock fabric (PWTH003.NEUTR ) along with a piece of batting.

How To Make Bubble Paper/Art

It’s not the paper that does it. It’s the paintbrush. This means I’ll try just about anything to create original paper/art images using just about anything BUT a paintbrush. This latest experiment involved a bottle of bubbles and black ink. Check it out: Here’s the complete list of what I used to make my bubble paper: bubbles ($1 for 3 at the Dollar Store)printer paper (although watercolor paper would be super cool too)a sinka small container to mix the ink and bubbles Here’s what I did: Mixed about 1 part ink to 4 parts bubbles in a small container.

Laid the paper in the bottom of a dry sink. Started blowing bubbles over the paper. Now, there’s not much control here. Then something like this happens, and life is good. I used one such bubble burst to make this card, centering the burst inside the cut area. I’m definitely going to do this again using different colored inks. Like this: Like Loading... Search.
