Stereophonics - Word Gets Around (1997) St. Vincent (musician) Anne Erin "Annie" Clark (born September 28, 1982),[1][2] better known by her stage name St. Vincent, is an American musician, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. She began her music career as a member of The Polyphonic Spree and was also part of Sufjan Stevens' touring band before forming her own band in 2006. He also studied piano until he was eight, then cello, and later on he sang tenor in his high school chamber choir.[3] As a teen, Lennox began listening to electronic music styles such as house and techno and artists such as Aphex Twin, all of which became a major influence on his later work.[4] He recorded and performed music—solo and with friends.

Freelance Whales is an American indie rock band which formed in Queens, New York in 2008. The band consists of frontman Judah Dadone (lead vocals, banjo, acoustic and electric guitar, synthesizer, bass), and bandmates Doris Cellar (bass, harmonium, glockenspiel, synthesizer, vocals), Chuck Criss (banjo, bass, synthesizer, glockenspiel, harmonium, acoustic and electric guitar, vocals), Jacob Hyman (drums, percussion, vocals) and Kevin Read (acoustic and electric guitar, glockenspiel, mandolin, synthesizer, vocals).

They met keyboardist Kenny Hensley, who had also moved to Seattle to pursue musical score-writing, and Charity Rose Thielen who had recently returned from a year studying abroad in Paris at the Sciences Po.
