Perhaps they are all following President Barack Obama who has led the way, first with BarackObama.com then Change.gov and then an instantaneous transition from the old Whitehouse.gov to the new Whitehouse.gov at the moment of his oath of office. But the question is … are they complying with federal rules and regulations regarding web accessibility, records management and privacy? All federal websites, as well as those that do business with the federal government, must be Section 508 compliant.
