Holistic Manual. Holistic Counseling for People Of The Western World Why Is Buddha Happy?! Unlike an 'unelightened' person, who "knows" things only with the "Logical/Analytical Mind" (the Left Lobe of the brain,) a Buddha (which means 'Enlightened One') "knows" things with their "Metaphysical/Intuitive Mind" (the Right Lobe of the Brain) as well. THAT makes Buddha laugh!.. A Buddha is anybody who has both sides of the mind open and working, and who has spent enough time logically analyzing everything they have seen, and therefore KNOWS FULLY what it all 'means' and how to accurately relate with the Universe around (as well as WITHIN) them. This Manual was written by such persons, who compiled the collective wisdoms of many, many other "Buddhas" before them, into a Logical/Analytical SCIENCE of how Metaphysical/Intuitive things fit-together with the physical Universe we live in.

It Does Make Buddha HAPPY! The Kuei-Shen Hsien, Ashby Massachusetts. Copyright Khiron, the Kuei-Shen Hsien 1998. Kabbalah and Jewish Mysticism. When non-Jews ask about Judaism, they commonly ask questions like: Do you believe in heaven and hell? In angels or the devil? What happens to the soul after death? What is the nature of G-d and the universe? The answers to questions like these define most religions; in fact, I have heard some people say that the purpose of religion is to answer these kinds of questions. Yet in Judaism, most of these cosmological issues are wide open to personal opinion. The areas of Jewish thought that most extensively discuss these issues, Kabbalah and Jewish mysticism, were traditionally not even taught to people until the age of 40, when they had completed their education in Torah and Talmud.

Mysticism in Judaism Mysticism and mystical experiences have been a part of Judaism since the earliest days. In the middle ages, many of these mystical teachings were committed to writing in books like the Zohar. Like most subjects of Jewish belief, the area of mysticism is wide open to personal interpretation. The Kabbalah of the Tora Verse Numbers. Kabbalah - The Hebrew Alphabet. "Twenty-two foundation letters: He ordained them, He hewed them, He combined them, He weighed them, He interchanged them. And He created with them the whole creation and everything to be created in the future. " Sefer Yetsirah ("Book of Formation") The Western Mystery Tradition combines many strands of thought and symbolism, but the more esoteric aspects of the Judaic traditions are something of a cornerstone. Study of the Kabbalah , even from a modern perspective, really requires some knowledge of the Hebrew alphabet and preferably of Hebrew itself. Those interested in Ceremonial Magic need to be able to interpret, transcribe and pronounce simple Hebrew phrases.

Students of the Tarot will find their understanding of the Major Arcana and the symbolism of esoteric decks enhanced by familiarity with the Hebrew letters. When reading or writing Hebrew, it is important to remember that it is written from right to left. Hebrew Letter Pronunciation Meaning Value Transliteration Aleph "ahlehf" Beth Gimel. From Thelemapedia Categories: Qabalah | Tree of Life The Tree of Life is a tool used to categorize and organize various mystical concepts, and is central to the teachings of Aleister Crowley and the Qabalah. At its most simple level, it is composed of ten spheres, or emanations, called sephiroth (sing. "sephira") which are connected by twenty two paths. The sephiroth are represented by the planets and the paths by the characters of the Hebrew alphabet, which are subdivided by the five elements, the seven classical planets, and the twelve signs of the Zodiac.

Within the western magical tradition, the Tree is used as a kind of conceptual filing cabinet. The process of Holistic Counseling entails two steps; 1) ANALYSIS (or taking-apart the 'problem' to see what makes it 'tick;') and 2) SYNTHESIS (putting it back together, ticking better!) If you don't know which Level to select, you probably have not yet read THE PRINCIPLE OF TRI-UNITY, which follows. Please digest this thoroughly before proceeding to any Analysis. Everything in human experience has three "Levels" to it.. Levels which represent a sequential 'CHAIN OF EVENTS' that is itself a basic 'Law' of the Universe.

That Chain Of Events is "The Law Of Tri-unity. " 1) From METAPHYSICAL origins 2) Via MENTAL/EMOTIONAL 'symbolization' 3) Into PHYSICAL FORM or 'solid' experience. The Parallel Universe of Metaphysics contains ALL of the objects, forces and relationships which are capable of 'creating' things. Spirit's "DNA" What is commonly called 'Health, Wealth and Happiness' is the direct result of LIVING ONE'S METAPHYSICAL NATURE ACCURATELY IN THE MATERIAL WORLD. Kabbalah - The Tree of Life. Central to modern Kabbalistic study is the diagram Otz Chiim, the Tree of Life.

The Tree encapsulates creation, existence and the return to the divine (or the path to enlightenment) in ten sefirot ("numbers," "emanations" or "spheres;" singular, sefira) and the twenty-two paths through which they interrelate (introduced in our Introduction to the Kabbalah). The Tree of Life describes the descent of the divine into the manifest world, and methods by which divine union may be attained in this life. It can be viewed as a map of the human psyche and of the workings of creation, both manifest and unmanifest. Indeed, any system can be more fully understood both in itself and relative to any other system by viewing it in relation to the Tree of Life. It is important to realize that the pure nature of divinity is unity, and that the seemingly separate aspects or emanations exist only in view of the emanated, living in a state of illusory separation.
