Blog techno et futur. Images 3D de divers projets. Cuisine du futur. Spherical kitchen. Most kitchens are literally built around the user with counter tops, appliances and sink surrounding the user. Sheer invites you and yours to surround it. You prepare and cook as you go around the lower half of the sphere (the upper half is a ventilated hood). The lower half includes a sink, plate rack, cutlery storage, ceramic glass cooktop, refridgerated bottle baskets and a pull-out table. It's made mostly of stainless steel or carbonium fibre and the hood is semitransparent metacrylic. Via La Coctelera Artilugios, via Architecural Record. Cuisine boulle. Sheer è il progetto italiano di una delle cucine più particolari e futuribili che mi sia capitato di vedere, adatta ad un cliente che possiade un po’ di sano esibizionismo ed una sala da pranzo spaziosa. La cucina nasce intorno all’idea di un piano di lavoro ad isola di forma sferica da disporre al centro dell’ambiente. La semisfera superiore ha una superficie traslucida in fibra di carbonio che, mossa da un motore elettrico, svela il piano di lavoro inferiore; allo stesso tempo la parte superiore è cappa aspirante e lampada.
La metà inferiore contiene i lavelli, tre refrigera bottiglie, ed un piano cottura in vetroceramica con 3 fuochi ad infrarossi ed un quarto fuoco centrale per la cottura con pietra ollare. Il sistema è completato da 2 mobili satellite contenutivi che possono girare intorno all’isola, e da un mobile-bar da parete d’acciaio con gli elettrodomestici, mensole, portabicchieri e tutto il necessario. March 1, 2008 at 10:35 am Although only a concept, the idea behind the Silverline Kitchen by designer Fevzi Karaman gets me excited. From the looks of it this one piece holds all the kitchen cooking and cleaning essentials, except maybe cabinet space for food storage, etc. I’m a believer that bigger isn’t necessarily better. And although my 500 sf apartment is on the small side even for me, I might not feel that way with if it were re-designed with space saving items such as this.
