Massimo Polello is an Italian calligrapher, based in Turin. He works on designs for packaging, logotypes and publishing, but also did numerous commissions of calligraphic works in large sizes on floors and walls for public art exhibitions. He collaborates with museums, organizing exhibitions and doing workshops and seminars. In 2007 he worked with artist/filmmaker Peter Greenaway on the video installation “Peopling the Palace”and he is a member of the “Doigts Noir” (Black Fingers), an international group op calligrapher-artist professionals. (Oh, what I wouldn’t give to be a member of an organization called “Doigts Noir”….) Check out the video below to see Mr.
