Propaganda and Debating Techniques. As you read the following pages, you will be exposed to quite a variety of deceptive propaganda techniques, logical fallacies, and lies (hopefully, none of them mine). You might as well learn a little about how the art and science of propaganda works, so that you can recognize the techniques as people try to fool your mind with them. You probably already know a lot about this, whether you realize it or not, because politicians pull many of these standard stunts on you every election year, and you have grown immune to some of them. And modern advertising uses a lot of them, too, and you just tune them out. Nevertheless, let's just do a quick over-view of propaganda techniques. Bear in mind that "propaganda" is not inherently a dirty word — it just usually is. Any time you are trying to convince anyone of something, you are using some kind of persuasion, debating, or propaganda technique.

This one is simple, straight-forward, and obvious. "You're never going to make it in politics. Wow. Rialto, CA Police Made to Wear Cameras, Use of Force Drops by Over Two-Thirds - informationliberation. HERE'S a fraught encounter: one police officer, one civilian and anger felt by one or both. Afterward, it may be hard to sort out who did what to whom. Now, some police departments are using miniaturized video cameras and their microphones to capture, in full detail, officers' interactions with civilians. The cameras are so small that they can be attached to a collar, a cap or even to the side of an officer's sunglasses.

High-capacity battery packs can last for an extended shift. And all of the videos are uploaded automatically to a central server that serves as a kind of digital evidence locker. William A. Police love to say if you're not doing anything wrong, what do you have to hide, yet all over the nation police unions virulently fight calls to force them to wear cameras.

Fact is, most cops have everything and more to hide. Rather than focus on fighting crime, the majority of the millionaire cop next door's work consists of extorting the general public for cash. Anarchist History. Give Me Liberty Or Give Me Death - Patrick Henry, March 23, 1775. In March 1775, at the third Virginia convention, held in St. John's Church in Richmond, to discuss relations with Great Britain, Patrick Henry made his timeless "Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death! " speech. King George had declared all 13 North American colonies to be in a state of open rebellion. Lord Dunsmore, the Royal Governor of Virginia, had ordered all the gunpowder in Williamsburg seized and stored aboard his ship anchored in the Virginia harbor, to keep it out of the hands local patriot forces. Patrick Henry, then a Virginia militia Colonel, with his militia troops faced down Lord Dunmore, forcing the British Governor in the famous "Gunpowder Affair" to return the large quantity of gunpowder which had been set aside for the Virginia militia by the Colonial legislature.

For this action, Patrick Henry became thereafter "Public Enemy No. 1" in the eyes of the British. No man, Mr. Mr. I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency. The Anarchist Library. Liberty - Mother, not Daughter of Order "If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen. " Samuel Adams, (1722-1803) U.S. Anarchist Thinkers Mikhail Bakunin, a founding father of Anarchism. Miscellaneous Essays, Articles, etc. Review of the "Anarchist" Cookbook, raises doubts about this classic piece of disinformation.

Publisher's note: Chapters 1 and 3 of this book were previously published in George Orwell's 1984 (London: 1949). This edition is complete and unexpurgated. Chapter 1: Ignorance is Strength Chapter 2: Freedom is Slavery Chapter 3: War is Peace Chapter 4: God is Power Chapter 5: The Proles Chapter 1: Ignorance is Strength Throughout recorded time, and probably since the end of the Neolithic Age, there have been three kinds of people in the world, the High, the Middle, and the Low.

The aims of these three groups are entirely irreconcilable. By the late nineteenth century the recurrences of this pattern had become obvious to many observers. The new "spectacular" doctrines arose partly because of the accumulation of historical knowledge, and the growth of the historical sense, which had hardly existed before the nineteenth century. Nothing the citizen does is indifferent or neutral. The consciousness of the masses (the "proles"), by contrast, needs only be influenced in a negative way. JFK's Speech On Secret Societies | Wake Up World. John F.

Kennedy gave this speech to the American Newspaper Publishers Association on 27th April 1961, two and a half years before his assassination (November 22, 1963). He details his thoughts on secret societies and what seems to be a call to action. Some believe that he is referring to secret societies being established within the US government and to others it is a cryptic message about an overseas communist threat. I will leave it up to you to come to your own conclusion as to what this speech is about, but it is apparent that he is well aware that secret societies exist and are attempting to infiltrate society. Below are some quotes from the event, followed by a video that broadcasts the essence of his speech.

. * “The very word “secrecy” is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings” Full Speech Mr. I appreciate very much your generous invitation to be here tonight. Twenty-Five Rules of Disinformation Built upon Thirteen Techniques for Truth Suppression by David Martin, the following may be useful to the initiate in the world of dealing with veiled and half-truth, lies, and suppression of truth when serious crimes are studied in public forums.

The more a particular party fits the traits and is guilty of following the rules, the more likely they are a professional disinfo artist with a vested motive. It would seem true in almost every instance, that if one cannot break the chain of evidence for a given solution, revelation of truth has won out. 1. The Reasons We Fight The New World Order. “Countless people … will hate the new world order … and will die protesting against it.” — H.G. Wells, The New World Order (1940) Throughout our lives and throughout our culture, we are conditioned to rally around concepts of false division. We are led to believe that Democrats and Republicans are separate and opposing parties, yet they are actually two branches of the same political-control mechanism. We are led to believe that two nations such as the United States and Russia are geopolitical enemies, when, in fact, they are two puppet governments under the dominance of the same international financiers.

Finally, we are told that the international bankers themselves are somehow separated by borders and philosophies, when the reality is all central banks answer to a singular authority: the Bank Of International Settlements (BIS). We are regaled with stories of constant conflict and division. The ‘Greater Good’ Collectivism The Philosophy Of Force Dishonesty As Policy The Hands Of The Few. Aldous Huxley: The Ultimate Revolution. Because Killing Them All is Not an Option | Social Memory Complex. Hey, anarchists, or really any reader who believes passionately in your political ideals for changing this world: depart with me on a thought experiment.

Your revolution succeeds. Through whatever means you think it possible, your fellow ________s have defeated the authoritarian/fascist/totalitarian forces and are ascendant. You, of course, know that your side will not rule in the same ruthless manner your enemy did. Now what do you do with all these enemies whom you haven't killed or converted yet?

The same beliefs that motivated them to oppose you in the past are likely not to be simply cast aside. After all, you didn't cast yours aside when you were out of power. As somebody experienced with dissidence, you know all too well that such people can take a long term view of their agenda and undermine the society you want to build in countless subtle ways. Well, if you're Lenin, you kill as many as you can and install a ruthless regime of your own to deter revolt of the rest. The Death of America - Top Ten Destructions of Our Freedom. Reason I. "Not Just Two" The political system in America continues to sour under the false impression that there are just two political systems in America: republican and democratic. Our country has always been based on the idea of a "melting pot," where cultural diversities mix, but, with a two-party system being propagated, it not only kills the voices of all, but ensures that a party will have dominance over the country every few years (as the republicans do now).

Of course both of those parties love the position they are in, but it comes at the cost of losing our rights in this democracy. Parties like the Libertarian, Green, Socialist, etc. hold views that some Americans agree with, but why are those parties shunned, especially in national debates? Reason II. Our forefathers included the ideal of "Separation of Church and State" in the constitution to eliminate the prejudice that some religions contain.

Reason III. Reason IV. Reason V. Change is necessary. Reason VI. Reason VII. 1. Everything you ever wanted to know about anarchism. This classic statement of anarchism was written by a diverse group of anarchists in Cardiff around 1980 and it is an interesting historical record of the optimism of mainstream anarchist thought at that time. There is probably more rubbish talked about anarchism than any other political idea. Actually, it has nothing to do with a belief in chaos, death and destruction. Anarchists do not normally carry bombs, nor do they ascribe any virtue to beating up old ladies. It is no accident that the sinister image of the mad anarchist is so accepted. The alleged necessity of authority is so firmly planted in the average mind that anarchy, which means simply 'no government' is almost unthinkable to most people. Yet there are a limitless range of possible societies without the State.

Various sorts of anarchists have differing ideas on exactly how society ought to be organised. Very few people seem to understand anarchism, even though it is a very simple, straightforward idea. Large Scale Campaigns. Proposed Roads To Freedom By Bertrand Russell. How to Make Trillions of Dollars. Before I get into it, I must say that I don’t recommend that you do this. I’m sharing this strategy for information purposes only, so that you can understand the playing field you’re working with, and can make better personal choices for how you make and manage your money. I do encourage you to become a millionaire, if that’s something that interests you. If it’s billions you’re after, I’m a bit suspicious but I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt. Aspiring to trillions, though, is the domain of the wicked alone and we won’t be able to be friends any more. The big money isn’t in creating products, it’s in creating customers.

You can make millions by selling a great product to people who need it, but you make billions and trillions by conditioning an entire nation of people to react to every inconvenience, every whim, and every passing desire or fear by buying something. It does take some capital to get it going. What it takes amounts to an engineered cultural shift. Creativity. 10 Things That Would Be Different If The Federal Reserve Had Never Been Created. The vast majority of Americans, including many of those who believe that they are "educated" about the Federal Reserve, do not really understand how the Federal Reserve really makes money for the international banking elite.

Many of those opposed to the Federal Reserve will point to the record $80.9 billion in profits that the Federal Reserve made last year as evidence that they are robbing the American people blind. But then those defending the Federal Reserve will point out that the Fed returned $78.4 billion to the U.S. Treasury. As a result, the Fed only made a couple billion dollars last year. Every single year, hundreds of billions of dollars in profits are made lending money to the U.S. government.

But why in the world should the U.S. government be going into debt to anyone? Why can't the U.S. government just print more money whenever it wants? Well, that is not the way our system works. Not only is this unconstitutional, but it is also one of the greatest ripoffs in human history.
