Bosko The Talk-Ink Kid Unreleased pilot film from Summer 1929, three minutes in length, the "demo" two former Disney animators named Hugh Harman (1903-1982) and Rudolf Ising (1903-1992) used to sell the idea of a cartoon series that would compete with Disneys Mickey Mouse and Silly Symphonies. Purportedly animated by Isadore Freleng (1906-1995) and Rollin Hamilton (1898-1951). This was said to be the first talking animated cartoon (Disneys Steamboat Willie just synchronized music and sound effects).
