:) I’ve received a lot of notes with similar questions, so this will be the tell all to end all. I apologize for the read and any typos! Growing up, all I did was draw and read. In a house without any game systems or cable tv, entertainment was whatever you could come up with. In 3rd grade, I had a friend who introduced me to the X-Men comics. When I was 13 my dream was to draw Spiderman comics for Marvel, so I drew Spiderman comics. I’d recently graduated high school and I couldn’t afford to go to an art school, but I knew I wanted to learn more about comics and maybe even get into animation. Then Walt Disney Animation Studios released Princess and the Frog, and then Tangled came out. During my junior year in college I started trying to learn everything I could about animation, whilst trying to graduate.

I finally FINALLY got my piece for the Doggie Wonderland Show printed! I’m so happy with the results! (The print is gorgeous and the watercolor paper is just amazing! What do you think?) Here's a selection for "Little Rikke" by the great Rikke Asjboern, that we develloped back in 2008. I've already shown the backgrounds and the title sequence we've made back then, but not these drawings. We explored different directions for the characters but the final versions reflected Rikke's own designs, which pretty much always proves more natural and better in a creator-driven show. In August 2011 I received an unusual request from Elliot Easton, The Cars legendary guitarist.
He had been approached by Robert Kantor (famous for his ‘bling’ guitar creations for the likes of Lady Gaga, Steve Stevens and a host of other guitar greats) who offered to create a one-of-a-kind Swaravski Crystal encrusted guitar for Elliot. All they needed was a design…. I had always been a huge Cars fan. They were a BIG deal in New York when they hit, in no small way due to Easton’s incendiary guitar work, which made their version of radio-friendly New Wave palatable to us legions of hardened teenage Zep/Sabbath/Halen disciples. Elliot decided to use a stock Gibson SG as the Guinea Pig. I did several rough drawings, each trying to work with the natural contours of the guitar while attempting to service both Tiki and Psychedelic influences as per Elliot’s request.
