PortableAHK - a new portable version of dropbox

Hey guys. PLEASE HAVE A LOOK AT THIS POST AND HELP TRANSLATING THE APPLICATION: http://forums.dropbox.com/topic.php?page=17&id=33387&replies=506#post-338682 The last few days I was searching for a working portable version of dropbox, but I haven't found one, which is up anymore, all of them are discontinued. So I decided to create my own portable version and called it DropboxPortableAHK, as it is based on the AutoHotkey language. What my application does: - Keeps dropbox up to date - Makes it fully portable -> you do not have to install it on every pc you use, just copy the entire directory and start the application - You can put your dropbox on your USB-Stick and have it with you all the time - You can select which folders should be synchronized to your folder (Selective Sync) - You can maintain multiple dropbox accounts on the same computer/user account - You can use your dropbox everywhere, also without administrator privileges

This week we're going to take a look at five of the best home wi-fi routers, based on your nominations. http://lifehacker.com/5920709/five-best-home-wi+fi-routers
A metal coffee can makes an attractive Wi-Fi antenna or signal booster with an impressively long range. You can make one yourself in an afternoon with just a few hardware parts. John Graham-Cumming posts the instructions for creating this coffee cantenna using a piece of coat hanger, a Wi-Fi antenna extension cable, and a Type N socket and plug.

At Backblaze, we provide unlimited storage to our customers for only $5 per month, so we had to figure out how to store hundreds of petabytes of customer data in a reliable, scalable way—and keep our costs low. After looking at several overpriced commercial solutions, we decided to build our own custom Backblaze Storage Pods: 67 terabyte 4U servers for $7,867. What we actually provide for our customers is online backup for home and business online backup for work. http://blog.backblaze.com/2009/09/01/petabytes-on-a-budget-how-to-build-cheap-cloud-storage/
