TuneUp Utilities 2012 | Speed Up and Optimize Your PC. Tools1. Driver Reviver description, Utilities: Patches & Drivers Downloads List By 30 Day Change. Out-of-date drivers can cause plenty of problems with your PC, but few of us want to devote much time to keeping our drivers fresh. That's what makes an automated solution like the $30 Driver Reviver (free demo) especially useful. Install Driver Reviver v3.1.6 and it will begin to scan your PC for outdated drivers automatically. It does so every time you boot up your PC, too, unless you tell it otherwise. You can change these settings easily if the frequent scans are too much for you. Driver Reviver identified only one outdated driver on my Windows 7 PC. PerfectUpdater erroneously identified a current driver as outdated, and suggested another that was incompatible with my Windows 7 OS.

I had no problems with the drivers Driver Reviver recommended, and the update process is seamless, too. The application automatically creates a system restore point for you, but does so in the background, so you're not alerted to this step. --Liane Cassavoy.

Make Your PC Faster, Safer, and Cleaner by using Max My Speed! Reimage | Website. Wise Registry Cleaner description, System Resources Tune-Up Downloads List By 30 Day Change | PCWorld. Every once in a while, I run across a program that seems too good to be free--but truly is. Wise Registry Cleaner 7 (WRC 7 from here on in) is such a program. Actually, it's a bit more than a registry cleaner. It also defrags the registry and offers quite a few system tweaks under its System Tuneup tab. As a registry cleaner, WRC 7 has performed well for me.

As with CCleaner, WRC 7 will get rid of some stuff you might want, including the most recently used file lists (MRUs) for Microsoft Office and other applications. WRC 7's registry defragger takes over your system for 30 seconds to a minute when it scans and runs to prevent other programs from making changes. System Tuneup options include optimizing disk I/O, disabling the debugger, a few networking tweaks and some other stuff. If there's anything I don't love about the Wise Registry Cleaner 7, it's that the interface, which while attractive enough, doesn't allow resizing to let you see the entirety of some of the items listed.
