The hemp plant is an astounding plant with huge potential to contribute to a more sustainable future. Industrial hemp can be used to produce fabric, paper, building material, plastic and fuel.
The hemp plant will grow pretty much anywhere the sun shines and without the use of polluting pesticides. The growing plant takes up carbon dioxide and in return releases oxygen. The canvas used for the cover is 100% organic hemp, made in Europe using traditional methods to avoid pesticides and chemicals. People are usually not aware of the huge negative impact the cotton industry has on our environment. The insulation is made with 80% hemp and 20% recycled cotton. The natural, untreated finish looks great on any wall, but the canvas cover has been designed so it’s easily removed from the frame. << Back.
