Last week we got the chance to show this love story at a very unique and special wedding.
The moment we met Brandon, Malia and Brandon’s daughter, Avery, we knew we would have the chance to share this couples wonderful beginning, with all of our friends. It’s a story of two families coming together, and Avery was the glue that sealed the deal. Both Brandon and Malia are elementary school teachers, so it was obvious to shoot in their most natural environment, the class room; which by the way, provided such a great setting for this Love Story. Beyond their similar workplace, so many of their memories were made in Brandon’s house involving his daughter Avery. This 2+1 story is inspiring and touching! Enjoy, STF. Mind castle. For my first wedding of the year I travelled over the Cascade Mountains through some very heavy rain and wind to the lovely town of Leavenworth WA, where the weather was much more mild with only some clouds and broken patches of sunshine. Allison and Scott celebrated their wedding last weekend in a destination wedding at the Tierra Retreat Center, a very beautiful venue not very far outside Leavenworth, WA.
For Allison and Scott’s wedding Bradley Hanson was the principle photographer and I was the second photographer. We met Allison at Pension Anna, in downtown Leavenworth. where she was getting ready and drove out to the Tierra Retreat Center. The grounds there are wonderful and there were many places for good photography. Especially the Red Barn where the ceremony and later the dancing took place.
