Hi there! I'm Sharon from Two Girls Being Crafty , and I am so delighted to be today's guest blogger on Everyday Mom Ideas!
For a while now I have wanted to make an art piece of my own to place above our humble dining room table. The problem? I am no artist.
We finally have coasters!
(Edited---Oh my goodness!
I’m not a big fan of red and green. Like the red red and the kelly green. Blech.
I really love flokati rugs. I have two that are safely tucked away in my parents basement awaiting our reunion. When I learned that I would be having a child and building a nursery for him, I wanted a flokati.
Cheap & easy — it took less than two hours and under $100 to make this collection of safari-themed wall art. We’ve all been there — you’re so tired of how your house looks you can’t stand it one minute longer. Do I have a solution for you! I made this wall art grouping in under two hours, and it cost less than $100. It’s so easy, you don’t even have to put a hole in your wall to hang it. The secret is STYROFOAM Brand Foam, which it turns out is the perfect medium for displaying your favorite fabrics, and is so lightweight that you can hang your finished wall art with wall putty or other adhesive product.

So sorry for the suspense regarding my toolbox dresser project .
Looking for the Faux Metal Wall Art? Since this project was originally published on The Sitcom in December 2010, it has been my most popular project by far. Who knew that a bunch of toilet paper tubes and an idea would become so big?
I bought these probably five years ago at an antique/consignment store.
