Microchip implant (human) The hand of microchip implant hobbyist Amal Graafstra, just after an operation to insert an RFID tag. The yellow coloration comes from iodine used to disinfect the hand for surgery. A human microchip implant is an identifying integrated circuit device or RFID transponder encased in silicate glass and implanted in the body of a human being. A subdermal implant typically contains a unique ID number that can be linked to information contained in an external database, such as personal identification, medical history, medications, allergies, and contact information. Since that time, several additional hobbyists have placed RFID microchip implants into their hands or had them placed there by others. Amal Graafstra, author of the book "RFID Toys," asked doctors to place implants in his hands.

A cosmetic surgeon used a scalpel to place a microchip in his left hand, and his family doctor injected a chip into his right hand using a veterinary Avid injector kit. Augmented reality goes beyond gimmicks for business. 3 May 2011Last updated at 00:04 By Sharif Sakr Technology of business reporter, BBC News Augmented reality stunt: An angel moves among commuters at London Victoria Station The people at Lynx cannot help but be pleased with the success of their latest deodorant.

Their new fragrance has emerged as their second-best-selling variant after just a few months on the market, thanks in large part to an innovative advertising campaign. The campaign was fronted by Kelly Brook posing as a voluptuous fallen angel, but what made it unique was a stunt at London's Victoria Station, known by its orchestrators as Angel Ambush. Commuters who happened to walk across a particular spot suddenly saw themselves on a vast video screen next to the departures board and, as they watched the screen, they discovered that they were not alone. BREAKFAST - A physical-digital interactive agency based in New York.

The Future Of Content: Protection Is In The Business Model -- Not In Technology - Gerd Leonhard (Techdirt) If I received a dollar every time I get a question along the lines of "how can the content industries compete with FREE? " -- I would be traveling first class everywhere I go. Underneath this question I often find my favorite toxic assumption: "less control over distribution means less money. " This belief is as tired as it is poisonous: enforcing control (when trust is really what's needed) will yield instant disengagement, which swiftly and surely will translate into dwindling revenues -- as the music industry keeps proving again and again.

If you believe in control rather than value and trust, the content business of the future is not a good hunting ground for you. Take eBooks: despite clear and present proof that DRM has proven disastrous in selling digital music (and now is pretty much history), technical protection measures are still being looked at to 'secure distribution'. Declinio do mercado de Netbooks.

Entonces... ¿para que sirven ahora los netbooks? Gráfica evolutiva de ventas de netbooks.
