SlideCaptain.

Welcome to the presenter console! It's hard to reorganize or import textSlow and memory hungryYou get caught up in design early in the process. Here you have a view of the current slide, a preview of the next slide and your notes. You can use your favorite text-editor! Many tools available: Landslide, S5Convenient (and powerful!) You also have a clock and a timer, so you know how much time you have left. Sliding from left to right is no longer enough. If you click on the timer it restarts from zero. If you have more notes than fit in the console, you can scroll down, but more handily, you can scroll the text up by pressing space bar. If there isn't more text to scroll up, space bar will go to the next slide.
Regebro/hovercraft. 5 of the Best Free HTML5 Presentation Systems. I have a lot of respect for Microsoft PowerPoint.
Admittedly, HTML5 presentations are not quite as powerful: An HTML5 Presentation Editor. Add-ons (install) Anybody can write an add-on!
(see the add-on developer documentation) note: add-ons are not necessarily provided by the Freeplane core developers. An add-on is a Freeplane mind map with the special additional suffix <FILENAME>.addon.mm. Add-ons can be installed with a single click with Freeplane version v1.2.10_05 or later. If Freeplane is not the designated program to open '.mm' files and for Freeplane versions before v1.2.10_05, follow this procedure: In Freeplane, select Tools > Add-ons > Search add-ons > Visit add-on pageSearch for your add-on and choose download Save the add-on on your computer (for example, on your desktop) Select Tools > Addons > Search and installSelect directory icon Find and select the file you just downloaded (for example, on your desktop) Select InstallRestart Freeplane.
Why Your Students Forgot Everything On Your PowerPoint Slides. Don’t fret, we’ve all been there: You’re up late the night before Thursday and you have to teach a lesson at 8 AM the next day.
So, what do you do? Throw some text on a PowerPoint and get ready to talk through your points. Couldn’t hurt, right? You might not always read straight off of the slides--they’ll just help keep your lecture on track, and if you lose your place, the text is right there for you. Unfortunately, whether you’re discussing Columbus with 4th graders or quantum physics with college freshmen, you may be hurting your students’ learning more than helping them. Let’s explore what instructional design doesn’t typically work with students, or anyone’s learning for that matter, when you teach with PowerPoint--as well as how you can avoid it.
Too Much for the Student to Process.
