Contexte et mise en oeuvre Le public est composé d’étudiants de BTS Banque en formation initiale au lycée Maximilien Sorre de Cachan (94). 2 groupes d’une dizaine d’étudiants sur une séance de 2h. La partie du référentiel visé concerne les techniques bancaires du marché des particuliers et notamment les besoins de financement. Le thème choisi est les « crédits immobiliers ». La séquence comprend plusieurs objectifs : Complémentarité entre Serious Game et e-Learning. Bien que les pratiques évoluent, il n’est pas rare d’entendre encore des questionnements liés au Serious Game et au e-Learning.

Ce dernier a trouvé sa place au sein des entreprises tandis que le Serious Game subit encore les a priori de son origine, inspiré du jeu vidéo. Amis ou ennemis ? Les deux supports ne sont aucunement en concurrence, ne portant pas intrinsèquement la même démarche d’apprentissage. Le Serious Game ne vise pas à remplacer l’e-Learning comme on l’entend encore trop souvent.

Si les deux approches ont pour objet la formation, l’e-Learning est traditionnellement utilisé pour proposer des contenus théoriques et des évaluations, tandis que le Serious Game s’oriente, dans la pratique, vers des modules d’entraînement.
