Of course they were addressed to my mom, even the one about an imaginary bear friend. Ironically, I didn’t really have an imaginary bear friend. I just made him up for the poem. So at the age of eight I experimented with my first paradoxical construct. As a teenager I discovered I loved science fiction and began to aspire to writing fiction myself. For a few years I tried to record my ideas. Then when I was twenty years old something happened to me that was stranger than fiction. And if you say to me, “Dude, it still reads like stereo instructions!” In the header/banner of this website are two Rembrandts and a Caravaggio.
