So I'm a little bummed. I try not to complain about anything on LSM because let's be real, who wants to read about the poor woes of another? But life happens and sometimes you just gotta vent. So when my friends assigned both appetizers AND dessert to me for this year’s Thanksgiving, I was in full panic mode as I didn’t want to ruin our entire Thanksgiving dinner. Dessert, afterall, is the most important part of the meal. Furthermore, I was instructed that store-bought items were not welcome – because we all know I was already planning a trip to Whole Foods. I’m always a fan of things that look more impressive than they actually are. Step 1: Cut off the top of 4 apples off and discard. If you’re a skilled interior apple excavator, salvage as much as you can so you can use it for Step 2. This recipe will make 4 baked apple pies (in the apple). Step 2: Remove skin from remaining apple(s) and slice very thinly.

I was trying to get myself to eat fruits on a regular basis. I even started noting the days I have been eating them. Once during one of the calls home, I was proudly recounting about this newly acquired good eating habit and praising myself in the process. My mom was obviously happy at my "turning a new leaf" when came a silent quip from my "new" husband.

"Oh yes! Changes I Made: Needless to say, bananas have never been in my "going-to-spoil-soon" list ever! Tips 1. Method For the Cupcakes: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Thaw the Bananas. Peel the bananas and drop them in your processor. Make a well in center of flour mixture. Gently fold the dry with the wet ingredients until combined. Dividing evenly, spoon batter into muffin cups. I used a 1/4 measuring cup to divide my mixture. Bake until a toothpick inserted in center of a cupcake comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes. Remove cupcakes from pan; cool completely on a wire rack.
