Bruce Lee’s Top 7 Fundamentals for Getting Your Life in Shape

If you have, then you may be interested to know that Lee was a very famous martial artist and actor who sparked the first big interest of Chinese martial arts in the West in the 60’s and 70’s. But besides being an awesome fighter and iconic figure Lee also had some very useful things to say about life. Here are 7 of my favourite fundamentals from Bruce Lee. 1. What are you really thinking about today? “As you think, so shall you become.” Perhaps the most basic statement of how we work. It’s easy to forget about this simple statement in everyday life. 2. “It’s not the daily increase but daily decrease. “If you spend too much time thinking about a thing, you’ll never get it done.” If you want to improve your life then it’s tempting to want to add more. The Simple Fitness Rules

Health and fitness are usually made to seem too complex. If you read a lot of fitness magazines and blogs (as I often do), you’re told a confusing variety of complex advice. It makes your head spin. You’re told that eggs, butter and meat are bad for you. Then another crowd will tell you those same things are actually good. It’s enough to make you want to give up. I believe if you stuck to those two rules, and stuck with them for awhile, you’d get fit. But what about specific macronutrient ratios (fancy way of saying the breakdown of protein, carbs and fats)? The two rules above are all you need … however, most of us need a little more detail, so here’s a more complete set of simple fitness rules. 7 Exercises to Make You Look and Feel Like a Man. 7 Exercises to Make You Look and Feel Like a Man

Vic is a personal trainer, karate/taekwando blackbelt, and a U.S. Army veteran. Walk into any commercial gym today and you’ll see the same thing over and over… overweight guy walks on the treadmill for 5 minutes, then hits the fly machine for a few sets, then he grabs the curl bar, stares into the mirror, and cranks out 3 sets of bicep curls. When he’s done with that, he grabs a squishy mat and does crunches for 10 minutes (all while checking out the cute chick on the elliptical).

If this sounds like you, you’re in for a rude awakening… Let’s think about this logically for a second. Here are the 7 best exercises that will make you look and feel like a man: Deadlifts What’s more manly than grabbing a bar with as much weight on it as you can possibly lift and ripping it off of the ground? Squat As men, we sometimes feel as if the weight of the world is on our shoulders.
