Easy Little Bread Recipe. Right this second I'm eating a slice of butter-slathered homemade bread. And quite frankly, it's the least interesting looking bread you've ever set eyes on. But at this particular moment, there isn't anything on this earth that would taste better. I'm convinced of it. It reminds me of the bread my dad would sometimes bake for us as kids. I snapped a few shots of the book to give you a sense of it. So, to all of you who embraced the soda bread recipe, yet still shy away from yeast-based recipes - you've got to try this one. . - More Whole Wheat Flour Recipes - - More Quick Recipes - 1 1/4 cups / 300 ml warm water (105-115F) 2 teaspoons active dry yeast (one packet) 1 tablespoon runny honey 1 cup / 4.5 oz / 125 g unbleached all-purpose flour 1 cup / 5 oz / 140 g whole wheat flour 1 cup / 3.5 oz / 100 g rolled oats (not instant oats) 1 1/2 teaspoons fine grain sea salt 2 tablespoons butter, melted, for brushing In the meantime, mix the flours, oats, and salt in a large bowl.

Hi Lucyd1.I have a Magimix food processor which is almost 2 years old and I bought a KitchenAid mixer in July of last year (with attachments) and I have all the other usual equipment.

Since buying my Thermomix I haven’t used the processor at all, not once, and I was using it almost daily. In fact I put it away in a cupboard a few days ago as it was taking up valuable bench space. The only time I will need to get it out is when I need to slice a large amount of stuff as the TM doesn’t slice but for everything else it is superior. I didn’t expect to be able to say that, but I am. Even just simple things like blitzing biscuit crumbs that I’ve done in my processor, usually there’s a few bigger crumbs at the bottom of the bowl, which you can move around and blitz some more until you get them all done. I love the way it cooks rice, though the maximum it can do is 400g of dried rice, which is ample for us with left-overs and I steam my veg in the Varoma. Thermomix, thermomix how do I love thee, let me count the ways! Yes, yes, I know I just told you that it was a love hate relationship - but the other night Thermie did himself proud! How can you not love a machine that minces, steams, cooks your mashed potato, and also makes your sauce! I basically used the thermomix for all components of this meal. I started out by making my own mince to make the meatloaf.

It's funny this recipe reminds me of a Sicilian Meatloaf that I used to make 20 odd years ago. Meatloaf With Mushroom SauceAdapted from EDC - Thermomix Cookbook 2 cloves garlic several rosemary leaves 1kg beef, cubed (such as rump steak - do not remove all the fat - you need a little!!) Place the garlic and rosemary and parsley into the TM bowl and chop for 6 seconds on speed 6. Chop small amounts of the cubed steak, probably no more than 200-300g at a time, into the TM bowl. Place the minced meat, the chopped garlic, rosemary and parsley back into the bowl.

Paleoliscious: Paleo. Healthy. Delicious. Natures Red Bull Recipe - Raw Blend. Walnut & Raw Cacao Nib Bliss Balls. I love raw cacao nibs. Yesterday I was trying to think of what I could make with my stash of cacao nibs (which I got for my birthday), and I decided they'd be great in bliss balls. When you need a 'pick-me-up' type of snack, these are just perfect. The mixture of dates, nuts and raw cacao make these balls like mini 'high protein power bars' - but they're much better for you than commercial power bars!

So do you know why these are called 'bliss balls'? I ground up the raw cacao nibs in my Thermomix, then added the other ingredients, including a little Rapadura to balance the slightly bitter taste of raw cacao. 1. . - 85g raw cacao nibs 2. . - 250g fresh dates, deseeded (eg. . - 1/4 tsp fine sea salt - 1 Tbspn vanilla extract (preferably a good, organic one!) 3. . - 230g fresh walnuts (make sure they're not old and bitter!) You could also use pecans if you'd rather. 4. . - handful or two of walnuts - handful of raw cacao nibs 5. Mushroom Soup with Bacon Recipe : Anne Burrell.
