A cette occasion, le pianiste Stéphane Blet, disciple de Byron Janis lui-même unique élève d'Horowitz, a enregistré un récital en forme d'hommage. On y trouve ses paraphrases les plus célèbres (Carmen, la Marche de Rakoczy) mais également quelques clins d'œil, comme une transcription de l'Adagio d'Albinoni réalisée par Stéphane Blet sur les conseils du maître. Le pianiste français a accepté de nous parler de la légende du piano qu'était Horowitz, de leur rencontre, de sa personnalité facétieuse et de son jeu inimitable. Horowitz possédait un jeu très particulier, un touché immédiatement reconnaissable. Vous l'avez rencontré plusieurs fois. SB : Je l'ai vu une dizaine de fois.
