A team of scientists based at the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden have made a "revolutionary" discovery about how hydrocarbon is formed, learning that animal and plant fossils are not necessary to form crude oil.

Revolutionary discovery means world may not run out of crude

The discovery, the scientists say, means that the world will never run out of crude oil. Currently, theory states that crude oil is formed very slowly - over millions of years - from the remains of dead plants and animals. Buried under rock, over time the pressure and temperature of natural earth processes results in the creation of crude oil. But that theory is now old news, as the scientists, led by Vladimir Kutcherov, say they have proven that fossilized plants and animals are not needed to create hydrocarbons. “Using our research we can even say where oil could be found in Sweden,” Kutcherov told Science Daily. Everything that is done by a government against the purchasing power of the monetary unit is, under present conditions, done against the middle classes and the working classes of the population.

Inflation Destroys Savings - Ludwig von Mises

Only these people don't know it. And this is the tragedy. The tragedy is that the unions and all these people are supporting a policy that makes all their savings valueless. And this is the great danger of the whole situation. The conditions under which people are living in the industrial countries of the West, which today means in practically all the countries where the standard of civilization has made some progress since the 16th or 17th century, the masses are in a position, fortunately, in the years in which they are able to work, in which they are in full health, to provide for the state of affairs as it will prevail in later years when they will either be absolutely unfit to work, or when their capacity to work will have decreased on account of old age or other changes. Zombie » How a Teachers’ Rally Made Me Anti-Education

Cap and Trade/EPA Nullification Legislation

At best, this is a highly dubious claim. The power to regulate interstate commerce was delegated to the federal government in the Constitution. As understood at the time of the founding, the regulation of commerce was meant to empower Congress to regulate the buying and selling of products made by others (and sometimes land), associated finance and financial instruments, and navigation and other carriage, across state jurisdictional lines. This interstate regulation of “commerce” did not include agriculture, manufacturing, mining, malum in se crime, or land use.

Nor did it include activities that merely “substantially affected” commerce. Legend: Blue – Introduced. 2012 legislation (scroll down for previous sessions) 2011 Legislation 2010 Legislation. It’s not necessarily qualifications or things of that nature, but America right now is searching for a certain leadership, and she has that one trait — and she pretty much gets people from different communities, different backgrounds, different economics, and it’s just she provides a certain leadership.
