I have an undying love for snowboarding that manifested itself in two awesome trips to the French Alps, the first at Val Thorens and the second at Sierre Chevalier. On those two short trips I finally found a sport that truly tailored to my tastes, my usually calm nature was transformed when gliding down a massive mountain with a piece of fibreglass strapped to my feet. I found myself openly shouting and whooping and I tackled the off-piste and while, much like any snowboarder, being substantially intoxicated with the local strength of mulled wine. I sadly have not been able to go snowboarding in three years (THREE!!!) And often find myself getting itchy feet this time of year.
