Just can’t help for not making these sweet little macaron coin purses when one of Craft Passion’s Facebook fans showed them to me. Thanks to XYZZhandmade for her inspiring handmade and some tutorial links in Japanese, this , this , this and this . No, I can’t read Japanese but I can guess from the pictures on how to sew it. Here is the English version of tutorial on how to sew this macaron coin purse where I add more details in the sewing.

I’m in an over-the-top cut-offs and wife beaters, sherbert and snowcones, slip dress and espadrilles, gumballs and taffy kind of summer mood lately. All I want to be surrounded with is sparkles and slip n’ slides and slushies. The reality is that I live in New York City where summer means trash-scented steam and sweaty subway strangers touching their bare arms to yours in crowded cars. Clothes and accessories in bright and happy hues can inject some clean fresh summer vibes no matter where you are. Matthew Williamson’s monochromatic raffia and leather clutches are right up my alley, right at home with the summer wonderland in my mind. Like this:
Inexpensive version/take on Alexander McQueen's clutches. All I can say about this DIY is: love love LOVE. The general shape and build is inspired by the Alexander McQueen clutches, even though eyeglass/sunglass cases obviously weren't used in the original designs. If you make your own clutch (whether the design is inspired by a McQueen clutch or is a style that's all you) you'll probably save a few thousand dollars.....just saying.
Rose gold is my favorite metal. It’s elegant, goes with everything, and it’s just a little bit more fun than regular white or yellow gold. I have been obsessed with creating my own minaudiere ever since seeing Honestly WTF’s Minaudiere DIY last Spring. Seeing boatloads of glitter all over the runway this year inspired me… I decided to create a glitter covered minaudiere with a crystal ball topper.
I have to admit - I'm typically not a glitter kind of girl. But as of a few days ago, that might have changed...or least when it comes to ultra fine glitter. I've always thought it's pretty, especially when I'm looking at entire spectrum of colors.

You know you DIY too much when you look at a placemat and think of accessories...not food, tables or eating. I visited my cousins in Canada a few weeks ago and found a burgundy, pyramid-stud-looking placemat at the dollar store. It was only a $1.25 CND, and the USD conversions aren't that far off.
