Après la maternité Hello Kitty , et le parc d'attraction Hello Kitty , la Chine accueille son premier restaurant Hello Kitty à Pékin (Beijing), en Chine. Hello Kitty, le fameux manga japonais emblématique incarné par un chat au noeud papillon rose rencontre un véritable succès en Chine et la licence se vend très bien. Si le personnage était décliné sous toutes les formes et tous les objets possible et imaginables, le restaurant Hello Kitty n'existait pas jusqu'au 25 décembre, jour où celui-ci a ouvert ses portes au public. Nommé " Hello Kitty Dreams " (" les rêves de hello Kitty") , le restaurant est situé au coeur du quartier très fréquenté de Sanlitun à Pékin. Dans ce restaurant, tout est aux couleurs de Hello Kitty.Sérieux

These photos were part of a life magazine spread on the clowns of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus in, I believe, the late 40s. Keep in mind that most of these makeups were meant to be seen from about a quarter mile away, to help the performers' facial expressions read better in a dimly lit three ring big top tent.
