Deux belles alternatives à Airplay gratuites. Airplay est une application Apple avancée de AirTunes et qui permet la diffusion de l’audio et vidéo depuis un ordinateur ou encore les appareils IOS. Mais pour chaque application il existe surement quelques alternatives qui peuvent séduire d’autres utilisateurs. Pour Airplay aussi il en existe quelques une que je peux mentionner ici-bas. 1° Getplex: est une belle alternative à Airplay qui est destinée au début aux utilisateurs de Mac mais aujourd’hui elle supporte aussi Windows et Linux. 2° XBMC: une autre belle alternative pour les utilisateurs de Airplay. Elle a une particularité est qu’on peut synchroniser entre plusieurs appareils XBMC.

I wanted the following: —looks good in living room —support (large online user-base to ask questions to) —very easy to use and setup —doesn't need constant upgrading/updating Xbox XBMC did all of those. Everything is easily controlled with a Logitech Harmony universal remote. No upgrading or updating required.
Very easy to use. [www.xbmc4xbox.org] and somewhat at but they no longer support the X in XBMC, meaning the latest XBMC software no longer supports the Xbox (I know, stupid) I couldn't be happier. Complaints: no wifi without a wifi bridge router mkv files don't work, that's a limitation of the Xbox and nothing can fix that.

XBMC: AirPlay on Windows. The XBMC developers added AirPlay support in version 11, and this is one of the features that really drew me to the software. One of the very reasons I contemplated getting the Apple TV was because of the streamlined AirPlay support, but with the addition of AirPlay support to XBMC 11 I thought that it would also fit my needs. I’ll be upfront and say that the AirPlay support in XBMC is not as extravagant as what’s in the Apple TV, but it supports basic operations like sending YouTube videos or videos recorded on your device to the TV.
