EBNA means Epstein-Barr nuclear antigen. IgG Ab is a specific antibody (protein) manufactured by the body against the proteins on the Epstein-Barr virus. The viral proteins are called antigens. This test measures the level of antibodies produced in the presence of the viral antigen that are still in circulating blood. Your results of 600U/mL indicate that you've had a previous EBV infection.

EBV Early Ag Ab (IgG) -- Detects a current or recent infection. Your results of 56U/mL don't necessarily indicate a current infection. EBV VCA Ab IgG -- Detects a previous infection.
