Pasos 1 Dedica tiempo a meditar .

there is a huge difference between what is called Manolaya and Manonasa. Most people who say they meditate sit down and try practices that produce manolaya, which is temporary stillness of thought. this is brought about by awareness practices such as vipassana and others. this can give a glimpse of why the thought "I am meditating" is false and vain. However, practices like Self Enquiry (as taught by Sri Ramana Maharshi, Papaji, Mooji) and Self Remembering (Gurdjieff, Ouspensky), show you that you are not the mind. In these practices one realizes the self as a silent portion of consciousness itself (there are no words to describe), experiencing the mind and body and being-ness. If this sounds distant and unreachable, think back to your childhood and remember how it felt as though life is a movie.

Even a little meditation can change the structure of your brain

I consider myself something of a prospective meditator—meaning that a serious meditation practice is always something I’m about to start… next week. So for years, I’ve been making a mental note of new studies showing that meditation can literally change our brain structure in ways that might boost concentration, memory, and positive emotions. Jacob Wackerhausen The results seem enticing enough to make anyone drop into the full lotus position—until you read the fine print: Much of this research involves people who have meditated for thousands of hours over many years; some of it zeroes in on Olympic-level meditators who have clocked 10,000 hours or more. Pretty daunting. Well, a new study offers some hope—and makes the benefits of meditation seem within reach even for a novice like me.
