Traveling across more than 50,000 miles through 46 states, Arizona-born photographer Mike Brodie documented the nomadic lifestyle of freight train hoppers and squatters. Brodie, armed with a simple Polaroid camera, captured his companions through intimate portraits set against ever-changing landscapes.
