• 15 maart 2012: Deimos-1 succesvol getest voor urgente opnames Deimos Imaging en Geoserve hebben, voor een aantal gezamelijke projecten, succesvol een urgente satellietopname van de Azoren getest met de Deimos-1 satelliet. Deze Spaanse satelliet neemt multispectrale satellietbeelden op met een resolutie van 22 meter. Omdat Deimos-1 volledig in handen is van Deimos Imaging (van programmering tot en met beeldproductie) is het een goede oplossing voor het verzorgen van urgente opnames. Dit type opname wordt gemaakt voor het volgen van vulkaanuitbarstingen, olieververvuilingen, overstromingen en andere natuurrampen. Pléiades-1A heeft 3 dagen na de lancering de eerste beelden opgenomen.
