In managing government debt, Agence France Trésor is assisted by a Strategic Committee. Together with the primary dealers (SVTs), this committee advises the agency on the main lines of government issuing policy. Its purpose is to help Agence France Trésor to make the most of its issuing principles and to implement issuing policy at a practical level. It is made up of leading experts from many different backgrounds providing Agence France Trésor with advice on the main lines of government issuing policy.
