We’re super excited to announce the opening of Ruby’s, our new Dalston basement bar. Set in the basement of Ruby House, underneath the cinema sign at 76 Stoke Newington Road the bar will focus on quality drinks in a decadent, intimate setting. We’ll be bringing something different to the area than the numerous party venues, namely somewhere to sit down and have a good old fashioned chat. Don’t be put off by the slightly seedy red-lighted entrance, that helps provide a nice contrast to the setting once inside! The bar evokes a cosy intimate atmosphere and the music will be at a level where you don’t have to raise your voice to have conversation.
Set in what was the kitchen of Ruby House 3, a former Chinese takeaway, the decor is a mixture of glazed brick, textured walls, wooden flooring plus a mish mash selection of tables, chairs and fittings.
