Follow me on twitter This is a video lesson based around the video “Mr. Bean packs his suitcase” thanks to British Council for bringing it to my attention in their lesson plan on making predictions but I’ve adapted it for use in different ways with different levels. Sometimes just a letter added or with one word having a vowel which is different from the other word can make all the difference. What is needed then is for one to be able to distinguish the meaning of one word from another. The words ‘amicable’ and ‘amiable’ are almost spelled the same with the letter ‘c’ added to amiable.
