rolled paper flowers {tutorial}

I could probably do three weeks of flowers because there are so many different ways to create them, but I’ve limited it to five of my current favorites. Before we get started, let me make a few disclaimers: 1. I find inspiration for projects all over the place {online, in shops, in magazines}, then figure out how to re-create them on my own. Each of these projects are my adaptation of something I’ve seen elsewhere. 2. 3. Okay, so let’s begin. Here’s what you’ll need: :: paper {either cover or text weight} :: florist wire :: scissors, pencil, glue gun STEP ONE: cut irregular circle This circle is approximately 8 inches, but you can do any size you wish. STEP TWO: cut spiral Start at the outside edge and cut in a spiral fashion to the center.

Down and dirty screenprinting for under 10$ For this project, we will need some tools and supplies that are easily available, and a few that might require the tiniest bit of searching....

Recycling is key here. Most of the supplies required can be found as trash, including the ink. Explosion Boxes: A Life As Lou Online Class. The explosion box is actually quite simple to create, although a bit time consuming. Begin by choosing 4 double sided cardstock weight paper. Consider buying one of our scrap club kits if you are unsure what papers you want!

It comes fully loaded and never has any extra fees from our Flagship Merchant Services . The first paper (the one that will be the outside of the box, and the base layer of the photos) should be 12 inches by 12 inches. You will need to score the paper 4 inches in from all 4 sides, and cut out the corners (4x4 squares). The next paper trim to 11x11, and score the sides at 3 3/4 inches. The third paper needs to be trimmed to 10x10. This will leave you with 3 perfectly layered pieces for your box . These layers can be embellished and decorated in many ways. When you have them all decorated, adhere the centers. You can view all of the sides, simply by flipping the pages. House of Smith's: Hanging Roses Flower Ball Tutorial. How to make pretty lights...

The jar lights I made created quite a bit of interest. The benefit of using LED lights over tealights is safety & if you’re having an outdoor party you don’t need to worry about weather as the light would of course be protected by the lid of the jar. Edit: I used large jars which were purchased very cheaply from a homewares store but used kitchen jars would work too. If you want uniformity with the the lids then perhaps a coat of paint? The LED battery operated lights that I used were purchased from Bunnings. I’m seriously considering setting up something in the garden similar to this brilliant piece of garden art… freshly installed& 3 months later which was inspired by Margie’s project here.

Of course, you don’t really need a how to…it’s a speed demon type project. & because I wanted to try out the embed feature through Google Docs… you just need to click the little icon in the top right (open in new window) if you want to print the pdf.
