Headbands

Cable Stitch "Jenna" Headband Pattern. I created this headband and pattern when a friend of mine, Jenna, wanted a custom cable headband for the winter!

Cable Stitch "Jenna" Headband Pattern

Thank you Jenna for your great idea! This is my favorite fall/winter accessory! -makes an adult headband for most heads measuring around 21” NOTE: This pattern is an intermediate pattern because of the use of the front and back post triple crochet stitches to make the cable. I learned how to do these stitches just by watching video tutorials on you-tube. Supplies: Crochet hook ‘I’ Simply Soft Yarn 1 or 2 buttons for closure Sewing needle Abbreviations Used: -ch: chain -sts: stitches -sc: single crochet -hdc: half double crochet -fptr: front post triple crochet -bptr: back post triple crochet Headband: -chain 13 (or any number that leaves 4 cable stitches in the middle and an even number of stitches on both sides- So here I wanted 4,4,4 so the ch 13 will make 12 sts) Row 1: sc in 2nd chain and each remaining chain, turn Row 6: repeat row 4.

I’m a nice person, so if YOU ask nicely, I’d make a consideration. Also, don’t post this pattern anywhere else. A simple link to this page would be a great way to share it. You CAN sell slippers you make, of course, but for pete’s sake, take photos of what you made to show your customer/s! PRINTER-FRIENDLY version link at bottom! I’ve received many messages via Ravelry about these slippers. Crocheted Mary Jane Slippers (women’s large–9.5-10) Materials: worsted weight yarnH-hook2 buttonstapestry needleyou’ll also need some yarn in a contrasting color. First, start with 8 DC into a circle. See the little tail on bottom? After cinching, slst into the top of the first DC, ch 2. [See THIS POST, if you need more information about the beginning round.]

This is what my piece looked like after round 4: Work 2 rounds even (NO INCREASING).

Christmas

Donna's daisy blanket surprise. I finished my mother-in-law's blanket and sent it over with a vase full of flowers (daisies included of course) and a card with the grandkids on it.

Donna's daisy blanket surprise

My husband was the delivery man, and he took the kids and left everything at her house when we knew she wouldn't be home. By the tone of her voice, I think she was very surprised! I'm going to work on a variation of this blanket for a baby and list it on Etsy at tillie tulip.

Baby Crochet and Photo Props : HappyBabyCrochet

Happy Baby Crochet actually started as Happy Baby Shoes but then progressed more to hats and photography props. What can I say....I love all baby stuff! I started making baby booties before my first son was born. I love soft sole shoes and wanted to make some of my own colors and designs. Then I made them for my friend's babies, and ultimately selling my finished work. Who doesn't LOVE baby booties? I don't have a pattern to share with you today, only a photo tutorial. Really an invisible join just makes everything even out so you can begin the next section. Invisible Join - (while working, don't forget to weave the ends of your yarn). Well, hope you enjoyed this post and this helps a little with following patterns. Great sites to try for baby shoes patterns are: Your can also search on etsy or ravelry for crochet baby shoes patterns.

And so I leave you with this verse.... how important it is to Blessings, Jenny.
