Jepoy Saint Brevin Les Pins, France Jepoy est né sur un montagne d'ordures à Manille, ce jour, j 'ai compris ce que vivre veut dire, Manger la poubelle des autres, liberté, trouver ce que nous pouvons faire de plus, égalité, au final, l'imagination n'a pas de frontiéres, quelquesoit le déchet, il y a quelquechose à faire, partager, fraternité. Inspired by Land of the Giants and Goliath, we are reminded of mythical stories by mischievously unleashing a giant hand from the BBC Big Screen.The hand from above
In the latest installation by Chris O'Shea, "unsuspecting pedestrians will be tickled, stretched, flicked or removed entirely in real-time by a giant deity" Using the BBC's Big Screens, which are installed in various UK city centres, the Hand From Above playfully transforms passers-by Hand from Above from Chris O'Shea on Vimeo .
In this installation YesYesNo teamed up with The Church, Inside Out Productions and Electric Canvas to turn the Auckland Ferry Building into an interactive playground. Our job was to create an installation that would go beyond merely projection on buildings and allow viewers to become performers, by taking their body movements and amplifying them 5 stories tall. We used 3 different types of interaction - body interaction on the two stages, hand interaction above a light table, and phone interaction with the tracking of waving phones. There were 6 scenes, cycled every hour for the public. We had a great deal of fun making this, hope you enjoy it too.
