In this Code Workshop we will be testing your knowledge of Java Strings. Within the sample code, String variables are going to be processed within a Java class, which in turn has an inner class. To successfully figure out what will happen when the code executes, you must understand not only String basics, but also the principles of objects and classes, as well as control structures including methods, loops and conditionals.
With so much of the world to explore and photograph, it can sometimes feel like a waste of time to revisit a location which you have already tried to represent photographically. However, when all the possible variables come into play, one location can offer huge scenic differences only months, weeks or even days apart.

In part five of the Stylized Character Creation series, you’ll begin creating high resolution textures for the character. Shaun will start by applying base textures to the model in Maya and rendering a shading test to check for errors, as well as the overall composition and color of the textures. In the past, Photoshop did not do a very good job of applying strokes to objects. Applying a dashed line to an object in Photoshop CS5, for instance, could take you about 20 minutes and required quite a few steps. In Photoshop CS6, however, the Photoshop team has simplified the process. In this episode of our Introduction to Photoshop CS6 series we will explain how to quickly apply strokes to your objects using these new features. Let’s take a look!
