eClinicalWorks Rated a Top EMR System - EMR Consultant Forum

WESTON, Fla.-- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Ultimate Software (Nasdaq:ULTI), a leading provider of end-to-end strategic human resources, payroll, and talent management solutions, today announced that eClinicalWorks, a market leader in ambulatory clinical systems, is taking advantage of UltiPro Workplace’s employee self-service, recruiting, and human capital management (HCM) reporting capabilities to accommodate the medical software company’s rapid expansion. The federal government is investing $19 billion to help doctors, hospitals, and other medical agencies convert from paper to electronic medical records, which many believe will increase the adoption rate of this technology. As a result, the healthcare industry is increasingly turning to eClinicalWorks’ solutions for a unified electronic medical record (EMR) and practice management system. eClinicalWorks, already growing at a fast rate, is preparing to expand at an even more accelerated pace during the next two years. http://www.emrconsultant.com/forum/topic/408-eclinicalworks-rated-a-top-emr-system/

We get many inquiries from providers attesting to Meaningful Use Stage One on how an Eligible Provider (EP) can meet Meaningful Use Measure 15 with a Security Risk Analysis. Measure 15 is met by conducting a Security Risk Analysis and implementing new security updates and corrective actions when a deficiency is identified. But, we know some of you are doing a Security Risk Analysis every year because HIPAA mandates it regardless of Meaningful Use…right? Is Your Information Secure? While medical practices could perform the risk analysis themselves, it doesn’t necessarily mean they should. DataFile Technologies has partnered with the premier health care consulting and information technology providers to offer a comprehensive HIPAA Risk analysis of your IT infrastructure and operational environment. http://www.datafiletechnologies.com/solutions/security-risk-analysis/#.UVjjT9GI70M

Google Search Plus The Egocentric Search

Today Google announced the launch of Google Search Plus for google.com browsers. Google Plus has been slowly creeping into the search results for some time now, today three major features are rolled out: Personal Results , which enable you to find information just for you, such as Google+ photos and posts—both your own and those shared specifically with you, that only you will be able to see on your results page; Profiles in Search , both in autocomplete and results, which enable you to immediately find people you’re close to or might be interested in following; and, People and Pages , which help you find people profiles and Google+ pages related to a specific topic or area of interest, and enable you to follow them with just a few clicks. Because behind most every query is a community. This means that you will be viewing personal results on most of the first page results. I don’t mean to burst any one’s bubble here but I get the distinct big brother feeling here. http://www.internetmarketingduru.com/google-search-plus-the-egocentric-search/
