Traduction. Android. From Processing The primary goal of this project is to make it foolishly easy to create Android apps using the Processing API.
Once you have Processing on your machine (and the Android developer tools), you can simply write a line of code, hit Run (Ctrl-R or Cmd-R), and have your sketch show up in the emulator as a working Android app. Select Run on Device (Ctrl-Shift-R or Cmd-Shift-R) to have it run on an Android device that you have plugged into your machine. That's good stuff! Note that this code is incomplete and contains bugs. We currently have no plans to make a version of the development environment (the PDE) that runs on the phone, but that might be fun for you internetpeople to hack together on your own, and amaze us all. Download and install the Android SDK from here. After downloading, follow Google's instructions here and then for the Adding Platforms and Packages section, do the following: Underneath “Tools”, check the box for “Android SDK Platform-tools”.
Revolution in 3D Modeling. 3d printer. Today we have a guest post from one of MakerBot’s awesome interns, Rebecca Hillegass.
Rebecca and her comrade Jason Schapiro will be updating us from time to time on their work on the BotFarm. In this post, we hear how Rebecca used her MakerBot resources to help a friend get back on his feet. A little background – After losing control of his back legs, my puppy, Freddy, was diagnosed with degenerative disk disease. It was unclear if he would regain the ability to walk normally. My first thought was to design and 3D-print a wheelchair to help him out. Building Blocks by MathematicalGastronomist, in the shape of a doggie wheelchair The frame of the wheelchair is completely made out of 3D-printed rods and connectors, which were designed using OpenSCAD (check out the files here on Thingiverse).
Tableau tactile. Art sensitif. Muehlseife. The aim of the project is to question the role of computer-aided design methods in urban development, to ask in which parts of the design process the use of the computer can be appropriate. While commonly the focus of most computer aided design sotware is on drawing layouts, that are defined by various analog methods, it does not give the designer any information about the quality of the design itself. The developed tool assists the designer in an early step of the design process, where basic principles of the layout are defined.
While the conditions of the design regarding light, spatial, geometrical and urbanistic context are displayed, it can be addapted in real-time. Therefore three kinds of analysis methods are implemented in the tool so far: Bases - Tutoriel soudure; souder. Interactive Multitouch Display. This multitouch display screen design is based on the description in Jeff Han's paper, Han, J.

If another person stops me in the street or blocks my car in just to shout "Apple have invented a multitouch cellphone! " into my face, I'll scream. Okay, so a huge company spent over two years developing a compact screen that could respond to more than one finger jabbing at it. So what? How to build your own multitouch table? Open Atelier. Build Your Own Multitouch Surface Computer. Software So now we’ve completed the hardware section.
The process of building a multi-touch computer is far from over, though, we need to get the software installed and configured so that we can actually use the thing. The central software that powered our rig is Touchlib , an open source library which takes the visual data received by the camera and parses it into touch events, which can be used by other programs to provide multi-touch control. Some programs implement this library directly, allowing for standalone multi-touch apps, while others, such as those written in ActionScript, require an extra software layer to allow the program to receive touch input.
