Elle enregistre en tant qu'artiste solo sous le nom de PJ Harvey, mais elle a commencé sa carrière dans le trio PJ Harvey avec Rob Ellis et Steve Vaughan. Elle est à la fois l'artiste la plus nommée et la plus récompensée de l'histoire du prestigieux Mercury Music Prize. Biographie[modifier | modifier le code] Dans son adolescence, Polly Jean Harvey suit des cours de sculpture au Yeovil Art College. En 1996, la chanteuse sort un album en collaboration avec John Parish, Dance Hall at Louse Point, pour lequel les textes de PJ Harvey sont développés à partir de la musique de Parish.
