Misc crafting. Awesome Stone Footprints Art By Iain Blake : Art, Design. Making Wall Art out of Styrofoam. Curbly-Original Recently, I received a promotional package in the mail from Dow Chemical with all the supplies needed to make modular wall decor. The box included: four 12" x 12" x 15/16" pieces of Styrofoam, four 12" x 12" sheets of black and white scrapbook paper, several yards of 7/8" wide black grosgrain ribbon, a bottle of Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue, a bottle of Tombo Mono Aqua Liquid Glue, and four wall hangers.

The instructions were as such: ‘Cover foam with coordinating sheets of 12" x 12" scrapbook paper; thick white craft glue works great.’ Next, I used the Tacky Glue to glue on the grosgrain ribbon around the perimeter of the foam squares. As the glue dried, it was obvious that the Aqua was going to ripple the paper a bit but not as bad as if I had used the Tacky. I then attached one of the accompanying hangers to the back of the foam. Summing up: First the good part: The project was very easy to do and it could be a great way to add color to your walls. " Well, it turns out you can totally DIY gift bows — nice, big, fluffy ones out of almost any paper good.

I'm going to make one out of a map. But you can make them from fancy ribbon, of course, or from recycled materials, too — comic strips from the Sunday paper, ribbon from an old VHS tape, pages of an outdated calendar, anything you can cut into strips and twist into loops can be made into a gorgeous bow. Once you've mastered this tutorial, you can use these custom bows as aisle décor, table settings or centerpieces, or secure them to headbands or barrettes and wear them in your hair. (Wait till you see how it looks in my husband's hair!) Materials and Tools Map(s), or whatever you'd like to use Ruler Scissors Glue runner or double-sided tape Step 1: Determine the finished size of your bow.

Step 2: Width of bow should increase with size of bow. Step 4: Do the twist! Step 6: Bask in the gorgeousness! DIY - Plexiglass Bag. I’ve always loved the plexiglass bags, even when anyone liked it, maybe that’s why I have always collected boxes of this material, of every size and shape, waiting for inspiration to transform them into something else Ho sempre adorato le borse di plexiglass, anche quando non piacevano a nessuno, sarà per questo che colleziono scatole di questo materiale da sempre, di ogni dimensione e forma, aspettando l’ispirazione per trasformarle in qualcosa di diverso The project is very very colorful, and the great thing is that you can use the colors you prefer, perhaps to be combined with a pair of shoes that you have or a dress. Today we use nail polishes!

To give the bag a final touch I used an old belt very thin, I cut it, I glued in back of the box, leaving the buckle in the front. Done! DIY – Transparent Envelope Bag. This project is a bit ‘eccentric I admit, a bit’ out of the ordinary, a little over the top, but every now and then is not bad right? I wanted to try to make a transparent clutch a little color with a quote, shall we? Here’s what you need, a transparent document bag, studs, a piece of chain, glue.

The first thing to do is locate the studs on the sides, the plastic hole easily and the procedure is quite fast, at this point you need to prepare a button to cover the clip. The Little Giggler: Tutorials That Rock My World. The other day I was thinking about how awesome bloggers are. No, I'm not talking about myself. Although now that I think about it I am pretty awesome. {wink} Anyways, I was thinking about how many great things I've learned or learned how to make because some awesome blogger decided to share it.

There is nothing more fun for me to take something old and a bit ‘off and give it new life. Today was the turn of this little straw bag.

To renew it I thought of adding a row of hearts made and decorated with polymer clay. How about, do you like? Here’s what you need: an old bag and polymer clay in the colors that you prefer. Once you’ve softened your polymer clay hang up to have a thin layer.

Decorate the hearts according to your tastes, I chose blue and yellow to do not make them too excessive but brighter colors would have been beautiful too.
