Anderson Cooper spent time interning, during his summer breaks in his sophomore and junior years at Yale, at the CIA. Cooper is the son of Gloria Vanderbilt and the great-great-great-grandson of Cornelius Vanderbilt.
Cooper is also a member of the Manuscript Society (aka The Wrexham Foundation). It is not clear when the Manuscript Society "tapped" blacks for membership, if ever. News Corporation.
