Quiz Bowl had always been buggy, as many people had pointed out, and it had become difficult to maintain.

It also used technology that doesn’t work on a lot of newer computers or tablets. Timed test depended on a browser add-on that both Microsoft and Apple have encouraged users to remove for security concerns. For these reasons, we took these two quizzes down at the end of the month. Thanks to everyone who has shown support for them, and we hope you continue to use the other quizzes on this site! Looking for the Image Bank? Anatomy contains labeled images that I have used this year in my lectures/demonstrations for first year medical students at Memorial University.

This site is being developed as classes proceed. The photos are of cadavers that I dissected. Many of the specimens have been plastinated and others hopefully will be plastinated soon. The plastinated specimens are in the anatomy laboratory and eventually one will be able to view a specimen along with serial photographs to gain a better understanding of Anatomy. There are a few photos of bones as well as a living person. The live parts were photographed on the same black cloth used for the cadaveric parts. I hope to have photos of all the parts of the body on this site by September next year.

This site has been moved to a new server here I will approach this study of human anatomy by regions as shown below: This is commonly called a regional approach to the study of anatomy.

Another approach would be the systemic approach, which takes a look at each system separately (vascular, respiratory, etc.) Each lesson will point out various structures found in the particular region being examined and then followed by a review of what has been covered. When we study the THORACIC, ABDOMINAL, and PELVIC cavities, the above list will also include the various organs.
