Carl W. Stalling (November 10, 1891—November 29, 1972) was an American composer and arranger for music in animated films. He is most closely associated with the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts produced by Warner Bros. , where he averaged one complete score each week, for 22 years. Last year, CEE TEE put together what has become known in Head-Fi lore as one of the best Head-Fi Meets ever . In 2012--last weekend--he topped it. I told him, after seeing last year's meet coverage, that I'd attend the next one, and I feel so lucky I was able to. The Bay Area Head-Fi'ers are one of this international community's most vibrant, active contingents. Thanks to the Bay Area group, and, of course, to CEE TEE, for putting together one of the coolest Head-Fi events I've yet been to.
